Dr. Vishal Datta, MD

He is no longer in Maryland. He moved to the Philadelphia are in Nov 2018 & 28 I am having a devil of a time finding another physician that measures up. Due to certain circumstances, I have no interest in continuing with the Hagerstown practice.

Dr. Datta is a warm and compassionate physician. He listened thoughtfully to my concerns and helped me understand all the thyroid tests ordered my primary care physician. I left his office feeling confident that I was on the right treatment and look forward to coming back to his office for my follow up appointment. I will be recommending Dr. Datta highly to my family, friends and colleagues. An added bonus is that his staff is just as wonderful!

I was very excited at my first appointment, he suggested I should add Vitamin D3 because many with thyroid problems are deficient. I did what he said. Second appointment, I asked him if there was anything else I could add to assist my thyroid and he said " I don't think I can help you, you need to find another doctor". I was floored. I know it sounds like I must have asked something much worse, or not done as he had said...but that isn't the case. He just refused to see me because I wanted to talk supplements as well. Also, I saw him in his office in Hagerstown, MD.
