Dr. Vishal Sharma, MD

I had not been seen since 2018, they staff told me I needed to be seen to have my Xidra script filled. What I was not told is that I was now considered a new patient. (explained later by the Dr in a phone call) Went in, paid my specialist copay had all the tests done. That were previously done but they had no record of it. Dr. Sharma stated he didnt want to fill my script he wanted to try NEW plugs. I explained I had them before multiple times and they all fell out. That was why I was on the Xidra. He said he wanted to try the plugs again to come back. 2 days later, another copay, plugs in.HOUR LATER they come out. Called center the next morning, explain what happened they asked if I could return a cpl days later, I asked if I was going to have to pay another copay they said yes. And no I couldn't speak to the Dr. I didnt return. Now I am being billed for "Surgery" for a procedure that didnt last an hour. After I wrote an email, Dr called saying I am out of luck and can go elsewhere

Some people don’t value their vision and are looking for cheaper options. Dr. SHARMA is a board certified surgeon and a fellow of the Royal College-he’s extremely thorough and worthy of a visit.

Beware, this place is scammy. My wife and I went in for laser surgery consultation. Since we are older, Dr Sharma advised he couldn't in good faith charge us the customary 100$ consult fee for each of us. So he said he could give us normal eye exams. I told him and office person that my Blue Cross would not cover eye exams and that I have separate EyeMed insurance. EyeMed lists Sharma as approved. So now I am billed nearly $500 for two eye exams through Blue Cross? Where is the ethics in that? I should have stuck with Council Opticians where it would have been free.

I've been a patient of Dr Sharma for over 2 years. He gives me the attention I need. He schedules followups as needed. He made sure I understood my options regarding surgery and what my insurance would pay. His staff is wonderful. They're friendly and professional. I would highly recommend Dr Sharma.

Premier ambulatory try’s to rip you off for an additional $250 for anesthesia done at their site over and above what hospitals charge. Do not have surgery done here!!
