Dr. Chhibber is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated as Director of Coney Island Hospital Blood Bank. He cares about patients and patients safety. He is always available to speak with doctors and staff. I would recommend him higher.

Dr. V. Chhibber wears many hats, fills many shoes and plays many roles. He is an educator to his blood bank staff and the clinicians. He teaches safe and best transfusion practices. He plays a vital role in recruitment. He is mentor for some of us pursuing higher education. His leadership has been proven by the excellent survey results in 2018 and the blood bank accomplishment. He fights for fairness for his staff. He is approachable. He is readily available. He helps create a safe transfusion environment for our patients and build trust and respect between the blood bank and the medical staff. After so many years at CIH, it is a relief to have a respectful and dedicated Blood Bank director to work with.

I have worked for many years in the blood bank field, and I can honestly say that he is a very professional director. he is always pleased to be called and seeks immediate involvement when it comes to any medical recommendation. he likes to step up and deal directly with all doctors concerns which gives the technologists enough room to focus on their tasks. I would definitely recommend other techs to apply to Coney island hospital blood bank.
