Dr. Visoth Chhiap, MD

He is a good man, knowledgeable, kind and thorough.

I wish he spent the time to figure out my skin problem, but he was too busy with other things going on in his office. It got worse and I had to change doctors.

My experience with this Dr. was awful. He seemed quite personable on my 1st visit. My 2nd visit was to remove something off of my cheek. I've had 3 children naturally but this minor facial surjury was by far worse. The numbing injections were extremely painful and the tugging and cutting was very uncomfortable to sit through. To have a tooth extracted one can be put under. Why not offer the option? I told the Dr. since I work in the sun, I should not fear coming back to be checked, that my experience was horrible. & that perhaps he should have suggested a tranquilizer or something . He looked at me somewhat annoyed offering no suggestions. I will never use his services again

My experience with Dr. Visoth was terrible. I went to see him about two problems: 1.) a lump behind my ear that had been growing larger and becoming painful and 2.) a reoccurring rash on my leg. He helped me with neither issue. First of all, he saw me 40 minutes after my appointment time. When I finally got in to see him, he examined my ear and said there was nothing there. (!) I really didn't know how to respond because I couldn't comprehend how he couldn't feel or see this lump. I had even had my husband look at it that day, and he confirmed that there was a red bump there that didn't match the other ear. Anyway, I kept pushing Dr. Vishoth about it, and he kept insisting that there was nothing there. Finally, he said I should go see an ear-nose-throat specialist.On to problem #2, the rash. He said it was nothing to be concerned about, probably just from dry skin or shaving. Okay, that's fine. Then he asked me what kind of daily moisturizer I use. I told him I don't usually use any… because I prefer to minimize the amount of chemicals I put on my skin. Suddenly he got very concerned. He said everyone should use moisturizer every day. Then he took out a fake prescription pad, which was actually a stack of advertisements for a certain brand of moisturizer, and he wrote out a "prescription" for this product, checking off the specific types I should buy. What a clown!This guy was a total waste of my time and money. Please do not go see him.

I cannot even give one star for this doctor. He could not even diagnose a SEVERE case of Staph infection on my son's leg. He diagnosed it as "neosporin allergy". When we went to another doctor they were shocked and almost had to put my son in the hospital for intervenous antibiotics. He had to have 2 rounds of 2 different antibiotics to heal his infection.
