Dr. Vito John Badalamenti, MD

Dr. Badalamenti took his time to listen and had the radiologist take a closer look at my test results based on what I told him about my symptoms. They had overlooked a small detail that was the source of my pain. Love this doctor!

My Father was unlucky enough to be a patient of Vito's at CMC-Pineville. He was there for 6 days and this "doctor" wanted to discharge him to a rehab. This would be OK except my Father still had a drain in and the issue that brought him to the hospital was NOT corrected (needed gallbladder removed). I spoke with Vito and questioned his decisions and the fact I had not seen or spoken to him once during this stay. I was there daily for hours at a time. I'm not expecting this man to hold my hand, but I did expect to see or hear from him at some point. I made him aware that I was there daily and his response was "Oh." Thankfully, I was able to speak with the surgeon and he got my Father taken care of the very next day. Marked improvement during the next week and discharged one week after surgery. My opinion is there isn't enough communication. I applaud the nurses and support staff for all of their efforts. This "doctor" is a disgrace and should go back to remedial school to… learn compassion/reading and communicating. I'm not unrealistic, I realize he has others to tend to. I felt as though he just wanted to turn the bed over to get another incoming patient.
