Dr. Vito Jimmy Carabetta, MD

I have had a pain in my side for a year and no other doctor could figure out the problem. I wish I had seen him a year ago. The appointment is an hour long and very thorough. He is great.

I think his work is well done, but I experienced him as xenophobic, racist, condescending, and misogynistic. I did not enjoy that part of the 75 minute testing time I sat with him.

I really liked Dr. Carabetta. I was very impressed that he spent so much time with me. He was very thorough and explained the procedure.

Dr. Carabeta worked with me many years ago when all doctors gave up on me. He validated my concerns and listened to me respectably. I finally got a diagnosis, which in turn allowed me to seek treatment and understand why I'd been struggling for so long.

This Doctor gave me a thorough exam of my arm and asked all kinds of questions. He ordered an MRI right away and told me what we were looking for. Got back to me quickly after he rec'd MRI information, I set an appt. and he told me what had to be done to get rid of the pain and get well.My husband and I were very impressed with this doctor.

When seein DR.carabetta, I would try to explain my issues, and was hoping for a caring ear,and someone with an education that could help. What I got was a self centered know it all.I would try to explain my issues but before I could finish he would cut me off and start telling me "YOUR JUST GOING TO HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT OR PRAY FOR DEATH". I couldn't believe my ears. I have two caged vertebrae in my neck. I understand I'll never be quite the same but come on "PRAY FOR DEATH" REALY!! I would avoid this SO CALLED DR. if at all possible.
