About Vito Clarizio
Dr. Vito Clarizio was born Vito Giacomo Clarizio. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey as a DMD (Doctor of Medical Dentistry) in 1988. Dr. Clarizio started his own practice in Whitestone, NY and has been in private practice in this location for over 20 years.
Dr. Clarizio strongly believes that it is vital to be up to date on all the advances in Dentistry. He does this by regularly attending Continuing Education. He’s a member of IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) and has been trained in safe mercury removal. He is also one of the few dentists in the United States certified to use the revolutionary FDA approved Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure for periodontal disease. This is a no cut/no sew painless procedure where patients have the benefit of virtually no postoperative side effects or pain. This procedure has been proven to regenerate lost bone from periodontal disease.
Dr. Clarizio is loved …by both his patients and his staff. His core staff has been with him since the beginning of the practice.

Growing up as a dental-phobic I entered this practice cautiously. My adult son recommended Dr. Clarizio and he couldn't have been more on target. I have referred clients as well (kids and adults) and all have been completely satisfied. Not only are Dr. Clarizio's services pain-free, so are the hygienists'. The office staff is friendly and professional. Glancing in at some of the children's rooms, I wish that I was a kid again to relive my old dental experiences. I rate Dr. Clarizio and his staff the highest scores possible - C.L.

I have been a patient of Dr Clarizio for a number of years. Before I went to Family Dental going to the dentist made me very nervous. Then I met the greatest group of of professionals at Family Dental. Dr. Clarizio is the best, his staff is wonderful, I'm very comfortable there and believe me I have had a great deal of work done on my teeth. My teeth and gums have never been healthier.
