Dr. Proscia is very nice and really cares about his patients.. i use him as a GI and i would recommend him to anyone

I was referred to a Gastro-Hepatologist by my Rheumatologist because various medications I was taking for Psoriatic Arthritis (metabolized by the liver) were causing abnormal results in my quarterly liver tests. I was able to get an immediate appointment with Dr. Proscia, who seemed knowledgeable, caring and competent. He did additional, more specialized blood tests and an ultrasound of my liver in an attempt to pin down the exact nature of the problem. He also discussed potential alternate treatment modalities, one of which was temporarily adopted by my rheumotologist pending final diagnosis of the liver issue. So far I am more than satisfied with Dr. Proscia and would gladly recommend his practice to anyone with GI or Liver problems.

I need to say that Dr. Proscia seems to be a food doctor, however the ladies at the front desk are very disrespectful. They need to change the staff and bring friendlier people.

Dr. Proscia was recommended to me by my mother, Dr. Proscia was very thorough during office visits/examinations and listened carefully to my concerns. The only suggestion I have is he or his staff follow up more promptly after diagnosis/tests. I would highly recommend Dr. Proscia.

A well trained physician. Clearly expert in his specialty, and makes astute clinical diagnosis. Why does it take so long to get an appointment -4-6 week wait not in season? Phone staff can be rude and abrupt, medical assistants are a mixed bag - some professional, some act like they are working in a fast food restaurant. Get better practice management, and keep appointments on time. Respect patients, even if majority are over y70!
