Very curious helpful in and out take care of me very well excellent nurses

Dr Tyagi has taken care of me for years, he’s a fabulous doctor and I highly recommend him!

I have had several procedures with Dr. Tyagi and he is one of my favorite doctors. He is very business like but don't let that fool you. He is very attentive and caring. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a good specialist.

I had an appt on Sep 18, 2018 with Dr Tyagi in his Tehachapi satellite office. (This office is actually my (PCP) Primary Care Physhappen?” She said, “You should talk to Dr T about it because it is HIS policy to overbook.” I said, “Okay I will. May I also ask why you all didn’t arrive until 1:45?” She said, “You should talk to Dr T about that too because every one of us were ready on time & we waited in the car until Dr T finally got in & then I had to drive like a maniac to get to this office when we did.” (FYI: It’s a 1 hour drive from his office in Lancaster to this satellite office in Tehachapi.) So anyway, I asked her, “Please be sure that the man who signed up very much out of order will not be called until his correct time.” She said, “Absolutely, don’t worry.” So when just about all of us had been called up by the receptionist at least twice to provide paperwork and insurance ID, it became apparent that they were having computer problems. Dr Tyagi was getting very… impatient and finally opened the door & said, “I know all of you have been waiting & they’re trying to fix the computer, but I’m going to start seeing you anyway.” It was so funny that he was trying to make him look good and his support staff inadequate, but we all saw right through him especially when we could see how frustrated his staff was, with the computer & him, but also because everyone could hear what people were complaining about because the waiting area is very small. So it was finally my turn to be called & guess who they called instead? Yep, the man who signed in first when he knew he wasn’t first. So I went to the counter & asked what happened. She told me not to worry as they were just getting vitals & he would be coming back out in a minute. She also told me to wait by the door because I would be called right away. I had no choice but to stand there anyway because all the chairs were taken. I waited & waited, finally sitting down when 2 people had left because they refused to wait anymore. I finally get called back at 2:45! Nurse took my vitals & took me to a room, leaving the door open. Dr T comes out of a room, grabs a file & starts to go in that man’s room, but the nurse stopped him and explained that they were just getting his vitals - that I was actually the next patient. He said, “Don’t worry about it.” And saw that man anyway. The nurse & receptionist came into my room & apologized. So I waited & waited while I could hear the Dr & the man laughing & having a good ole time. So finally it’s my turn. Dr T comes in reading my file but still asks why I was there. I explained I was there for the results of my endoscopy & colonoscopy. So he just closes my file & says, “You just need to poo more often, you’re constipated. I’m going to give you 2 new prescriptions & an over the counter one & you need to take the old one more often.” So I said, “Wait a minute, I’m here for my results..”. He cut me off & told me he talked to me after my procedure. I said I was groggy then and wanted my results. He told me he would give me a copy but really all I needed to do was poop more. I reminded him that I can be constipated & have severe cramping diarrhea all in the same day, that the diarrhea cramping pain is far worse than the constipation pain. He then said I had several family members that had cancer so I should be seeing him every year and walked out saying, “I need to see you in a month after following my new orders.” I never had a chance to talk to him about anything. This Dr is about the lousiest Dr I’ve ever known. There are many other problems within the office too. They keep telling people they are sorry and that they are getting a new phone system and have a new office manager but I have not seen any improvement. I should also say that, in addition to the 2 patients who left because they refused to wait any longer, there were also 2 people who came in just to make appts because they could never reach anybody at the office and never received a call back when they left messages. I had those problems too but it was nothing compared to the arrogance of Dr Tyagi. DO NOT waste your time with this Dr or any other Dr in the same office. Their phone system is never working properly. They never call you back. It’s hard to just make an appt, and then you’re going to share that appt time with at least 2 other patients. Dr Tyagi seems to think he is somehow better and his time is more important than his patients and expects them to be okay with sharing an appt time and waiting until he decides to arrive. And then he doesn’t even listen to you. Not one person, regardless of their title, is more important than anyone. We are all equal. Your degree may help you get a better job but it still doesn’t make your time more important or allow you to talk over someone else. Dr T may be very intelligent but there are other Drs who are too but they also care more for their patients.

Very knowledgeable, takes his time reviewing/explaining procedures/genuinely concerned about his patients

Dr Tyagi is a caring, concerned, (yet very busy) doctor. ALL the women staff working in his office are rude, unprofessional, and have NO concern for the patients. They also seem uneducated in the medical field & in public communication.

Dr Tyagi is a great doctor, very thorough, great bedside manner, very compassionate. His office staff is horrible. They are not knowledgeable about anything medically related. Lack education in all aspects of medical care of a patient. Seem like straight out of high school no medical background at all workers, really scary when patients lives are the center . This amazing physician should hire more knowledgeable medical assistants, they honestly have no clue what they are doing at all.
