Dr. Vivek Sunny Sambhara, MD

One of the best doctors I have ever met. Recently diagnosed with pneumonia at an urgent care, and then a nightmare visit at an emergency room due to severe pain,( where after xray's was told they did not see any pneumonia, and sent me home with antacids and extra strength Tylenol) all after my diagnosis at one of their facilities. It was a relief to be able to get an appt with Dr. Sambhara and get his professional expertise. I was nervous as good be and he was able to provide me the details I needed to be able to relax, regarding my condition. I may be in for a long road of testing and procedures- But I am confident that I am in the care of one of the best pulmonologist in the area.

I have been to a lot of doctors and he is one of the best I’ve ever been to! His knowledgeable, likeable, and understandable. I highly recommend him!

My family is extremely grateful for the incredible care of Dr. Sambhara and his nurse Monica. They are always professional and compassionate to their patients. They go above and beyond to ensure each patient receives exceptional care and preventative ways for treatment. After each visit, me and my family know that Dr. Sambhara and Monica are sincerely invested in our well being. We have much appreciation and gratitude for both of them!

Dr. Sam hard and his assistant Monica are the best at what they do. Very professional and operate like a well oiled machine. She is very knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. NGDC could be a wonderful establishment if they used Monica to train the other MA’s on staff. Dr. Sambhara is thorough and takes his time explaining every diagnosis. He is calm, witty, and has amazing bedside manner. He and his assistant seem like they know what the other is thinking and that makes them amazing at what they do. The other Doctors and assistants could learn a thing or two from them. The best in Northeast Georgia hands down.

His front office staff is good. The assistants in the back office are rude and snippy. I can hear them talking and laughing about other patients while I wait. Dr. Sunny’s usual assistant Monica is awful. Not sure how she keeps her job how rude she is to other staff and to patients on the phone. Dr Sunny is great at explaining my disease and steps I need to take. But he is pompous and has a major ego because of it. I feel like he is more interested in being right and proving his point than caring about me as a whole person. He has a foul mouth and treats his staff like scum. I witnessed an encounter he had with with one of the assistants and he I can’t see why anyone would want to work for him.

Dr. Sambhara is very Knowledgeable, he took the time to explain everything to me and my son who's also a patient here, he shows he cares for his patients. will definitely keep seeing him and refer anyone who needs a Pulmonologist
