Dr. Vivian Kabat Fink, MD

I'm not sure what the other people who reviewed Dr Fink were going through when they left their reviews, but I'm glad I didn't let them deter me. I've met many, many Dr's, and Dr Fink was one of the most down to earth, personable and friendly Dr's I've ever encountered. I've learned not to trust reviews as it seems disgruntled people are more apt to leave them. Dr Fink is wonderful and I can't thank her enough for helping me.

In all the years that I’ve dealt with my list of midi albums issues I have never encountered a dr like her! She hardly even listened to my symptoms before taking me off all meds and starting me in a whole new regimen. She then referred me to someone else. When that didn’t work it was nearly impossible to make another appt. also In my first appt she took me off the preventative med and gave me a med that I need to take at the onset of a migraine but nothing to prevent them so then I still have to deal with getting them everyday. I do not need a warm and fuzzy dr but a dr who will actually listen to my symptoms and actually put effort into relieving some of my discomfort and pain which she did not even try!!! Do not see her you will be very disappointed in your care because she doesn’t care about you or your condition.

Condescending and uninvolved. Don't see her.

If I had to choose between her & another doctor based on personality--it wouldn't be her.

Dr. Fink finally figured it out! Thank you Dr. Fink! You listened, you looked at my situation analytically and figured out what the real problem was without throwing a cocktail of prescriptions at me. I would see this Dr again in a heartbeat. After two months of chronic pain with a chronic disease, she was able to accurately diagnose and correct my problem. If the above person is looking for warm and fuzzy from your doctor, maybe that is half of your problem! Dr. Fink is down to earth, direct and accurate! I only wish she was able to be my primary!

Was sent to this Dr. after barely surviving a critical situation. The first visit, it didn't click on how callous she is. Then, after 2 follow-up visits you start puting everything together. Dr. Fink is EXTREMELY self-centered and egotistical. I've had many Dr's over the last year due to my condition, and Dr. Fink is by far the worst. After having a hospital stay for several months and seeing physician after physician, they all agreed on my condition. Then, during the first visit, Dr. Fink threw all their credibility and diagnosis out the window and said, "she didn't think it was what they all agreed." She referred me to several other areas because of my condition and even disagreed with those results!I really hope this doesn't sound bitter because that's not the type of person I am. It took me some time to come to my conclusion on Dr. Fink after careful analysis of her demeanor, etc. What I'm saying is spot on, and if you have her for your Dr. I'll wager you'll encounter the same… issues. PATIENT BEWARE!

This Dr. is the most apathetic Dr. I have ever encountered. She just doesn't care. Told our daughter she had epilepsy, put her on meds and said to check in later. No offer of support, education nothing. Personal nurse is almost as bad. Beware if you see this Dr. You'll need to be your own advocate because she's not. Better yet, don't see her.
