Dr. Vivian Wenhan Yeh, MD

I have NO idea why Dr Vivian Yeh has only a 2.9 star rating! She has been my Ob/gyn for 23 years and she is nothing short of WONDERFUL! She is a fantastic physician and always takes her time with me during my visit and answering any and all questions I may have. She delivered my youngest son and my labor and delivery went very smoothly! I have always thought that she is the best PHYSICIAN in the whole practice! They are ALL wonderful, but I find Dr. Yeh very calming and informative.

Weight shames you. Very judgmental. I will not see her again.

Went to see her for annual exam. Saw her years ago with no problems. Minimal eye contact. Told me I needed to lose FIVE pounds. She suggested I achieve this by eating half a banana. My daughter was inpatient for an eating disorder at the time. Whatever happened to body positivity?

I transferred to Dr. Yeh and on the first visit she found out I have a cyst as big a a thumb. My previous doctor never mentioned any about it to me and I saw him less than a week prior.

My daughter devastated had viaginal prolapse grade 2 full length rectocele went to Dr Yeh for help. The Dr was very short and demeaning with my daughter and did a physical examination. After which Dr Yeh told my daughter she had constipating and bloating and set her up for a ultrasound and left the room. Within 2 weeks she saw another Dr and had a operation to repair her problem and is on the road to a full recovery. Dr Yeh didn't believe my daughter about the seriousness and showed no sympathy while getting diagnosis totally wrong.

I have been seeing Dr. Yeh for over 20 years and she always remembers everything from previous visits. Asks lots of questions about my over all health and concerns. The appointments are always on time, always pleasant.

I was having trouble with my birth control pill as I suddenly started experiencing non-stop heavy bleeding that did not correlate with the 28-day pill regiment. She did not answer any of my questions, and refused to discuss switching pills or getting off of the pill entirely. Instead, SHE decided that I would continue as normal. After I insisted that she let me get an ultrasound (which required literally begging her), she called back to tell me that the results were “essentially normal.” When I asked what that meant, she refused to elaborate any further. Along with making assumptions about my lifestyle and making judgmental comments throughout my appointment, this was absolutely THE WORST experience I have ever had with a doctor.

When I asked questions about my labwork that came back abnormal she wouldn't answer my questions about what would make it come back abnormal. All she would say is I'm not worried about it your fine. I said okay, but why would it come back abnormal. Still no answer. When having issues with debilitating migraines during my pregnancy and was in her office in tears in pain. She had the nerve to say "So you thinking pregnancy doesn't suit you?" Really what kind of question is that? How is that helpful? No bedside manner and treats you like your a moron.

Dr. Yeh is very kind to her patients and has a great sense of humor. She listens and addresses your questions in a thorough manner. I never felt rushed during appointments and she is encouraging!

For a number of reasons I have a high-risk pregnancy and therefore, I see A LOT of physicians in various specialities. I have never had a problem with any of them until Dr. Yeh. I completely agree with the other reviewers, she made me feel like I was her 65th patient of the day and she just wanted me out. She is very, very good at making you feel like the dumb patient that knows nothing, while she is the superior Doctor that knows all. I was with her for probably a total of 6 minutes and in that short time, not a single thing that came out of her mouth made the experience a comforting and happy one. I'm a first-time Mom that has been through a lot in my journey to successfully have a child. So while I'm not asking for pitty, I would hope that at a minimum, a Doctor could have a little bit of compassion and realize that these visits are exciting for me. I'm praying she doesn't end up being the doctor to deliver my baby.
