Dr. Vivane Nasr, MD

Dr. Viviane G. Nasr, MD, MPH, FASA, is Chief of the Division of Cardiac Anesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital and an associate professor of anaesthesia at Harvard Medical School. She specializes in pediatric cardiac anesthesia and perioperative care for children with congenital and acquired heart disease, with clinical and research interests focused on perioperative risk assessment, patient safety, and outcomes in pediatric cardiac surgery and noncardiac procedures for children with heart disease. Dr. Nasr earned her medical degree from the American University of Beirut, completed anesthesiology training at both the American University of Beirut Medical Center and Tufts Medical Center, and pursued fellowships in pediatric anesthesiology and pediatric cardiac anesthesiology at Children’s National Medical Center and Boston Children’s Hospital.
