Dr. Vivica D Vollmer, MD

To All, If you haven't found out already, most practices are packing people in like sardines......so be careful of you find comfort with.....once you're comfortable, you'll be lucky if you can see a Dr. in a timely fashion after you are in the system for awhile. Sadly, my mother has been attending Dr. Vollmer's office for almost 20 years. Now, my mom is deathly ill and we don't hear from her, a caring Dr. who got paid plenty from insurance over the years. She states she's keeping up and overseeing my mom's care. We have not heard back from my last call, and she visited my mom once in the hospital for 1/2 hour after 3 1/2 months of being in a hospital and rehab, now, she thinks she's good and all has been forgotten. I guess once you've been practicing for over 25 years it goes from ethics and passion to burn out and too busy, I guess the financial upside for the foreseeable future seems bleak and the personal connection has dissipated. If at this point I am wrong, than do… something about, now's your chance! If my mother is still alive at the time of reading. But, truly, I am so disappointed, if she passes in the next two weeks I'd rather not see you paying respects. From day 1, all I have heard is "one main Dr. should be overseeing her care", we are waiting for you to step up, we have heard nothing! Thanks for what you may believe is managing care from a far, but, really thanks for nothing! Sincerely, Very Disappointed Family Member

i tried to call to make an app ,and ask if they taking new patients .there is an answering machine that goes thru the directions and it just repeats the message over and over again . if i can't get to a live person to begin with on the first and second try i call ,i'm not interested in finding out if this doctor and the staff are available to actually take the time to treat me

I just recently left the practice due to a move. I miss Dr. Vollmer so much. I will never find another Dr. like her. I will never forget all she did for myself and my husband.. Thank you Dr. Vollmer..
