The doctor spent an extraordinary amount of time with me. I was very impressed with that. It was difficult because I threw 45 years worth of complicated medical history at her in one sitting. I don't think anybody on earth could have taken all of that in and understood it, particularly when it was impossible for me to go in chronological order. Memories come and go. I am not concise. Considering I have a very complicated case and according to textbooks I should be dead, as she kept saying over and over again, as many other doctors have said, I think she did a good job. I didn't expect a solution to my problem in the first visit, but I did not expect to be told that the labs were impossible, that this simply could not happen and that it must all be in my head meaning I needed to see a therapist. I've been working for the last five hours together lab work and medical records from the past six years to send to her as quickly as possible so she can see that this was not a fluke. This has… been going on for years.
