Saved my friends life -clinic waits time could be better

another hospital missed the fact my husband had no blood flow to his leg. Dr Halpern has saved his leg although there is still a long ways to go. I am thankful she is here

The "Dr" didn't respond to numerous attempts at contact so I could be informed as to test results,possible treatments,etc. After a biopsy at the Phoenix VA I was hospitalized due to the distance back home.It was then I had an opportunity to discuss my condition and at which time I discovered this "Dr" is either very ignorant or mentally ill.She suggested that what was seen on a PET scan was from an existing aneurysm causing irritation in the surrounding tissue and not a mass that other Drs had thought it to be.She suggested antibiotics as a treatment even though previous tests had ruled out any type of infection.This "Dr" is another example of the low quality Drs the VA attracts and hires.At this time I am in Las Vegas,Nv due to a false belief that medical would be better here.I have a abdominal aortic aneurysm of a needed repair size that apparently is partially encased by a mass and the symptoms of Lymphoma or perhaps another cancer. Treatment at this VA isn't possible due to a lack… of quality surgeons and my care will have to come from the private sector

Dr. Halpren has the utmost patience with my stubborn husband---very thorough in her job. We trust her completely.

the doctor was quite good

doctor is good - i noticed this is wrong location though- she practices at the carl t hayden VA medical center in phoenix- she no longer is in ny

definitely would recommend doctor. facility needs improvement for patient wait times
