Dr. Vladimir F Burdjalov, MD

Vladimir Burdjalov, MD, is a Staff Member of the Department of Neonatology. His specialty interests include brain injury in neonates, neuroprotection, intestinal microflora in neonates, and probiotics in neonates. He earned his medical degree in Moscow State Medical Institute #2 in Moscow, Russia. He completed an internship at the Children's Clinical Hospital in Moscow, a residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in Bronx, N.Y. and a fellowship at University Hospital, State University of New York in Stony Brook, N.Y. He is board-certified in pediatrics with a subspecialty certification in perinatal-Neonatal medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Russian-American Medical Association, and the Cleveland Clinic Pediatric/Neonatal Transport Task Force, among others.
