Dr. Vladislav Zayas, MD

I receive quality and personalized attention with Dr. Z's. Zayas. He was very attentive to my needs and was able to understand how I felt because of medications that I was on that were prescribed by other physicians. Because of Dr. Zayas I was able to stop taking these medications immediately. This essential change made a major improvement in my life quality. He was both my and my husband's neurologist. And he was a great person personally to have in our lives. He became my mother's doctor. And he was like a family doctor for our neurological needs many years. We sorely missed him since he's left the Rhode Island area.

More neurologists should be like him!

I sustained a fractured skull injury in 2000 which left me with no sense of smell , mood swings, constant migraines , impulse control issues , etc. When I had to go court a few years ago to see about getting a settlement for my injury, he would not testify on my behalf unless he got paid around 500 dollars or so in advance. At his old practice, all he ever did was give me drugs and never bothered asking me if I wanted to get a MRI done for my in jury. I've been trying to get on disability since 2007 and he has been no help at all. Now his new practice where he is located at, would not even let me in for my last appt. because my insurance wouldn't cover the full appt. fee up front, so I had to go home with no prescriptions for my meds that I sorely need. I'm now in the search for a new neurologist who isn't all about the $$$$ !

Horrible. Worst neurologist in the state of RI. Perhaps the US

After many weeks and E.R. visits, Dr. Zayas was the one to finally diagnose and treat me. I have since seen him for follow-up office visits and have had a very satisfying treatment plan. I am very thankful for having Dr. Zayas as my Neurologist.

He walks out of the room while I'm asking a question. He ignores the question and throws a fit, by huffing and puffing, rolling his eyes and tilting his head back as if he's asking God to make me shut up, and responds by telling me to take a left and another left and that will get me out of the building. I left crying 3 times after seeing him. He spends 5 minutes tops with each appointment and can't wait to leave. He enjoys belittling me. I never hated anyone until I met Dr. Zayas...the Doctor with no soul.

Dr. Zayas has a wonderful bedside manner. He is phenomenal and knowledgeable in his craft! Very personable and I highly recommend him.

He couldn't wait to get out of the room. No bedside manner at all. Wouldn't answer questions. Don't bother wasting your money.
