Dr. Vrinda Pankaj Kalaria, MD

Dr vrinda Kalaria is an awful doctor. I had to see him at my primary care office because my provider was out. I went in due to issues with my IBS and he was checking everything but my stomach. I told him what was going on and he asked questions that I had just answered. He was not paying any attention and cut me off mid sentence multiple times. He wanted to do an EKG and test my thyroid. I told him I had already had my thyroid checked this year and he said no you didn't. I logged into my chart and pulled up the test results to show him. He was checking my range of motion and not my stomach! I asked him to refill my stomach medicine and he said oh we can't do that. I was like uh yes you can my normal provider here does it all the time. Finally my normal provider nurse came in and assisted and I finally got my stomach medicine called in. I will never see him again I had them list in MyChart to never put me back with him that if my regular provider was out I would just go to the… emergency room or an urgent care. He also has no bed side manner. If I could give him 0 Stars I would!

I was placed at 90% disability. I went for re evaluation for some new claims as well as to increase worsening conditions. The provider that saw me kept pushing my limbs past points of comfort, guess she forgot to mention that in her notes because my shoulder and knee pain/immobility have not improved and because of that quacks diagnosis that they have improved according to her even though i said at several points that that is extremely painful I am now being dropped to 80% in 60 days as of yesterday. I had an older veteran gentleman who recommended i go through Ree Medical and as we were talking he adamantly stated "do not go through Chattanooga!" Now I know why and wish I'd spoken to him well before this. After 8 months of watching my claim go to step 6 twice and step 5 3 times and being kicked back to step 3 they cheat me on my disability after being run to the point of several broken bones in my feet and the inability to bend past certain points in my back and knees among several… other conditions. I thankfully managed to get a call center job to help with cost of living so I don't have to live in my RV anymore but am still barely scraping by because I cannot work manual labor with their expectations. And now I may have to reconsider my living situation thanks to this facility. If you are assigned any provider there, you run like your rear is on fire for another option. DO NOT TRUST CHATTANOOGA VA FOR ASESSMENTS, THEY WILL CHEAT YOU OF YOUR BENEFITS AND SAY YOU'RE GETTING BETTER!

I was supposed to have an exam by Vrinda Kalaria, MD concerning my shoulder. she looked at my hand and said yep you have arthritis. the exam on my consisted of put hand behind your back, then she said the shoulder was locked. there were any never measurements of limitation, no instruments. The conversation consisted mostly of her arthritis in her hands. this exam was supposed to be a preliminary for a request to increase in my compensation. She made the comment "I will not be involved in the decision". but the decision was based on the exam.
