Dr. Vu Quoc Chi Nguyen, MD

Dr. Nguyen is a very competent, caring and compassionate physician who has been my son's primary point of care since his stroke in 2012. Dr. Nguyen continuously maintains and stays abreast to my son's status and looks for way to improve his life through ideas, treatments and medication management. We were fortunate to come into contact in the emergency room at time of stroke till now and trust his experience and guidance in maintaining my son's medical condition.

Has treated my post-stroke mobility issues for 18 years. Excellent listener and diagnostician. Provides Botox injections to manage spasticity in lower limb.

I went to see this Doctor due to lower back, his bedside manner is awful and all he wanted to talk about was himself....stay away at all costs.

We were referred to this doctor after seeing another doctor in the same office. The purpose of the appointment was just a acupuncture session since the doctor we previously saw in the office did not do acupuncture. We were told that the acupuncture would cost $150 per session and we knew our insurance would not cover the acupuncture. We tried to pay the acupuncture before leaving the office but the secretary said they would send us a bill for it. Few months later we received a bill for almost $400 including not only the acupuncture session but also charging us for an appointment. We called them and explained that we had gone for an appointment with the other doctor and that the only service we went for in that specific date was the acupuncture session. Doctor Vu insisted in us paying for the appointment and his office even tried to charge the insurance for an appointment that never happened. Not to mention that the doctor spent the first minutes before the acupuncture telling us how… his sister that also herniated her disc had to adopt a child instead of getting pregnant due to her back when we just had told him we were trying to get pregnant before I hurt my back. After that he put me in a table that would only fit a child. He asked me to me on my stomach and I had my feet hanging out the table and also the table. Not to mention that the table did not go totally flat and I had to stay with my back in a extension position the whole time. He then stick the needles on me and leave. After 10 minutes of feeling much more pain in that uncomfortable position I ask for the nurse to call the doctor back inside the room. Guess what? That doctor had already gone! Please stay away from this office for your own sake!
