Dr. Vu Nguyen, DO

Everytime my husband or I have seen dr Nguyen we have been impressed by his professionalism and his compassion. However, our issue has always been with his 'office workers' aka his wife, Candy (sp?). She is the most unprofessional, rude and arrogant 'professional' I have dealt with in.my.life. My husband and I decided to switch primary care physicians due to their unresponsive mess when scheduling appts and followups with specialists. When we requested to transfer records, we received a phone call from her that stated she would withhold his records until we paid his balance of 200 dollars. One, we didn't know there was a balance, we never received a bill nor were we told when we came into the office (eventually found out they imputed our mailing address incorrectly and they were sending our bills to the wrong address) and two, there was a MUCH more professional way to go about collecting this balance. When I questioned her she accused me of withholding payment that they need to 'put… food on the table for their kids' and cursed at me. She verified our address where she 'sent our bills to' and of course it was imputed in their computer incorrectly. When I was able to get the dr on the phone he agreed to transfer the records because it's what's RIGHT FOR HIS PATIENT. I reported them to HIPPA for withholding medical records which I received a quick response of them stating that yes it was illegal and they will be given a warning. It's a shame that a wonderful dr has to ruin his practice and lose patients due to his wife's unprofessionalism. Working in the healthcare field myself, I will be sure to tell of my experience to anyone who inquires about PCP's in the area.

Dr Nguyen is the kindest most brilliant doctor I have ever seen! He listens to all your concerns and takes the time to take care of you.

spends time and listens actually tries to figure out what is wrong with you sends you for diagnostics until he gets his answers and he treats them he doesn't dismiss anything thank god for him he was the one that found my aneurysms and my symptoms were the same with another physician but the other physician dismissed me all the time switched and answers to prayers

I have been going to Dr. Nguyen for the last 3 years since my primary physician retired. I have been very happy with the service provided. He listens to you patiently, does not rush you and takes your opinions into account before prescribing or suggesting medications. He suggested trying out some over the counter medicines and natural supplements, instead of going for more expensive prescription medicines. I would gladly recommend him to any of my friends.

Dr. Nguyen is the most caring, patient friendly doctor I've ever seen. He's not a "drug pusher"...he'll give all natural methods first and then, if necessary, start out a prescription on the lowest dosage first. He's great with children, also. I no longer feel afraid to take my son to a doctor if he ever needs one. I highly recommend him!

I just found out that Dr. Vu has been prescribing my 60-year-old father Namenda (for Alzheimer's disease) for the last 2 years with out a referal to a psychiatrist. My father has no symptoms of Alzheimer's disease.

Dr. Nguyen is by far the best dr. I have ever been to. He sincerely cares about his patients. He is never in a rush and always gives you plenty of time at your appt to ask any questions. I can honestly say this is the 1st dr. that I have ever completely trusted. Keep up the great work Dr. Nguyen!
