Dr. W Laurence Wickler, DO

Dr. Wickler did my ACL reconstruction 25 years ago and I have done great. I still exercise vigorously including running , squash,tennis, cycling and even basketball. I am great full for his skills.

Don't worry about him talking to himself. He's really talking to his dictaphone. Have had three arthroscopic meniscus surgeries and a rodding of broken fibula.All with great results.

I have worked in the Physical Therapy field for over 30 years and have rehabilitated patients of Dr. Wickler. They have always had good things to say about his bedside manner. The surgeries have been successful. I have been a surgical patient of Dr. Wickler and been extremely pleased with all aspects of my experience from never feeling rushed or that he did not spend time during the appointments to follow up appointments. His office staff have always been extremely helpful as I live out of town and need appointments at different times.

Best doc in town, tells it like it is, does not surger coat any thing, not affraid to send you else where if need be, he worries about you first not him self. very passionit about his work.

Wickler has performed surgery on both my knee and shoulder. Both surgeries were successful. He takes the time to go over x-rays and explain medical procedures.

Excellent doctor made me feel at ease and explained everything to me.

he is a wonderful doctor and helped my father a great deal he also taught me some cool medical things when i was a teenager, how to pull stitches and staples

Front staff ladies are a bit snippy, and count the number of visits by patients to determine priority. Dr. is a bit frail and long in the tooth. Office location is antiquated with a filthy air system. I encourage potential surgeries to go to a clean facility in the mid-town area.

Dr. Winkler re-attached my rotator cuff in 2008. He was great! Good bedside manner in surgery and post op. I loved my visits with him. My shoulder is doing well and I am back to swimming and other activities. I would heartily recommend him for shoulder surgery.

Dr. Wicker is very knowledgable and is able to explain situations to the patient with easy understanding. He is also very practical and willing to consider alternative treatments.
