Dr. Wade H Berrettini, MD

I was institutionalized twice and both times they took me off every single medication I was on because they could not believe not only the medications I was on because they were so old in dangerous but also because the doses were so high. Every time well the two times then I went back to see him after leaving the institutions you put me right back on the medications and I ended up right back where I was institutionalized so think twice before you see this doctor also when he's on his laptop he's not just writing notes he's judging everything about you

This doctor somehow worked his way up to becoming the head of whatever he is at University of Pennsylvania. I am the second member of my family to discontinue treatment with him because he is seriously an awful doctor he's a psychologist but he does know psychology he just offers more prescriptions than anybody could ever need. And you know he's one of those doctors who gets paid by pharmaceutical companies to advertise medications because he has drawers filled with sample packs of brand new medications that literally for one single pill cost $95. Honestly see a regular psychologist because they will help you a lot more just because somebody has a good title and is expensive doesn't mean they are good doctor and this is exactly the case with dr. Wade quack Tini

No psychological insight; misdiagnoses and prescribes addictive drugs without informed consent and without follow up.

I was treated by this doctor who primarily used heavy medications and little psychotherapy. Consequently I spent years in a "drug fog" After getting a second opinion I discoved Dr. Berrettini misdiagnosed me and I have gotten off 80% of the drugs he prescribed, lost 45 pounds, and got my energy and life back. I would not reccommend this doctor.

Dr. Berrettini is astonishingly brilliant, has a kind bedside manner, a big heart and is available in times of need. I am very lucky to have him as a Doctor.
