Dr Wade C. Hedegard, MD

Dr. Hedegard joined Elizabeth Wende Breast Care in 2012 after completing a Breast Imaging Fellowship at Mass General Hospital in Boston. Prior to that he completed a Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical School.

Dr Hedegard is on the Monroe Medical Society Board of Censors (2017 – 2019). He has presented at national meetings including the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society and more. He has published several articles on breast imaging and general radiology in medical journals and enjoys teaching and training other physicians on the subject of breast imaging. He contributes on a national level as a reviewer for peer-reviewed journals and by sitting on several breast related sub-committees.
