After being misdiagnosed 14 years ago by another local rheumatologist, I was fortunate enough to get an appointment with Dr. Bolad who diagnosed me correctly, put me on an aggressive and appropriate treatment plan and got me healthier than I have been in years. Rheumatic diseases are very difficult to treat and most often the patients are very ill when they get to Dr. Bolad and his staff. There are so many moving parts to making a patient experience a positive one. At the end of the day, adjustments have to be made in schedules and staffs feel the pressure of a burdened healthcare system. Some days are better than others. I have Lupus and it's not easy but at the end of the day,I know that I am under the care of a physician who is knowledgable and cares deeply for his patients. There is not a one and done with Lupus and many other Rheumatic diseases....it's a combination of trial and error and perseverance. If you are looking for informed and and professional care then this office… will deliver. Not only do physicians and staff need to exercise patience, so do the patients. It's a 2 way street and I'm glad that I found the doctor that would diagnose and treat me correctly for this long journey. Thank you Dr. Bolad- I appreciate you!

I have been a patient of Dr.Bolad since 2015. I have Rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. I have a list of very complicated and rare genetic diagnosis that make any treatment a challenge. I have learned, as a nurse for 19 years, that only the most knowledgeable and caring doctors can assist me with making my quality of life better. I am very picky, and research my doctors! When I started care with Dr.Bolad he not only reassured me that he would work with my other specialist (which is rare) but that he would find something that would work. It has been a journey, however, after seeing Dr.Bolad and Alyssa, his NP, I can say I have been treated with so much respect and continue to rely on Dr. Bolad’s knowledge. Everyone at his office has been great and very helpful! I have 2 adult children, ages 18 and 20, that I have taken to him, and that alone speaks volumes of how I feel about this office! They aggressively work with my insurance company to make sure I get what I need!
