Dr. Walid Aref Osta, MD

The doctor and the employees at this clinic are wonderful. I was able to get an appointment quickly. The doctor reviewed my records and understood my situation. The visit was painless. I recommend this clinic.

My experience with Dr. Osta and his staff has been very positive. I have been seeing Dr. Osta in Dearborn for the past 2 years for treatment of my neck and back pain. Dr. Osta manages my pain medications and occasionally gives an epidural when my pain is very intense. The man is extremely intelligent and his employees are very well behaved. Dr. Osta is very serious about what he does and you can feel that he is a very competent and confident physician. I have full trust in Dr. Osta and I highly recommend him.

The doctor at this pain management clinic is inhumane. My husband has been going to this clinic to see Dr. Walid Osta for about a year now. The first time we saw him, he was a very nice doctor and seemed like he cared, for his patients. Eventually, I noticed that we were just another number to him. He doesn't really care! He pretends! in other words, he is fake. A doctor is supposed to protect human health and is expected to be dedicated to providing competent medical care with compassion and respect for human dignity and rights. Apparently, this office is unfamiliar with the FDA guidelines for un-prescribing opiates. The health care provider and the patient should agree on how to gradually reduce the dose of the opioid to avoid dangerous withdrawal symptoms, worsening of pain, and psychological distress. Doctor Osta acted against these FDA guidelines by canceling the rest of my husband's prescription and discharged him from the clinic, over his receptionist telling him that my… husband cursed on the phone with her, because he was frustrated after being lied to (for a week) about a pre-authorization that was needed, due to us having new prescription insurance. His poor reaction proves he does not have any care for his patients at all, nor practices the medical code of ethics or the FDA Drug and Safety Guidelines for discontinuing opioids. He could care less if he causes distress, agonizing chronic pain, and psychological issues. His actions are inhumane, unprofessional, and he should have to face punitive actions for his unprofessional mistake. I am grateful for audio recordings, Walgreens, and my prescription insurance documentation. I hope the FDA, medical board, or federal government stops him from doing this to anyone else, in the future.

He should not be a doctor and lose his license he causes a lot of patience a lot of grief

I am probably one of his first patients in his private practice. I started seeing him in 2011 when he had only few patients (and the wait was not that long). Over the years, Dr. Osta remained as compassionate and caring as he was on the first day we me. Unfortunately I will need a pain clinic for the rest of my life, but fortunately I have Dr. Osta on my side.

This was not my first pain clinic but this was the first time that I was treated with respect and dignity by the doctor and the employees in any pain clinic. I visited Dr Osta in his Dearborn clinic and I was very happy after my visit. Hopefully this positive experience continues.

Dr. Osta is a 5 stars doctors. He literally saved my life. On my last visit he noticed swelling and redness in my legs. He told that I may have blood clots and ordered me to go immediately to the hospital, which I did. The doctors at the hospitals did some tests and confirmed that I have blood clots. I was told that I could have died if I waited any longer. Dr. Osta is not only an excellent pain doctor, but also a caring and smart physician who definitely knows much more than pain management. I highly recommend him and his clinic to everybody.

I can't rate this doctor, he was awful to me. After having an altercation with my insurance rep. Of which I knew nothing about, I was called and told not to come in for the appt I had for that same day. He left me hanging and I had been going to him for several years. I think that's unethical. I don't even want to give him that star but I can't put my opinion in if I don't. Also he has little or no respect for women.

Great doctor, listen to your concerns and doesn’t judge you.

My first appointment with him today and he was amazing. The staff was amazing and he was very thoughtful he listened and he pulls no punches and spoke his mind with a open heart and medical expertise. I have complete faith
