Dr. Wallace Robert Hodges, MD

Dr Hodges is one of the most dedicated physicians I have met in my 43 years of working in healthcare. His diagnostic ability coupled with his compassion and commitment to excellence puts him on the top of my list.He has even opened his office on Sundays to provide care for those who can not afford parking (the building is open for free parking on Sundays) or for patients that can't make it during their work days. He spends enormous amounts of time getting to know you and equal time when you are sick. He's work waiting for.

Dr. Hodges is a wonderful Doctor. He was my Internist when I was treated for Anorexia/ Bulimia, in the mid 1980's. He saved my life during three different admissions. He's very caring, compassionate, and really takes his time with his patients.

He He really is a good doctor. I came to him after previous doc botched two surgeries and made issues worse Wally has already made issues so much better in the 6 months I been seeing him. Was with other doc almost 3 years and I don't think u can pay me to go back to other doc. I will wait my hour+ happily to see Hodges!

Dr Hodges sees my entire family. He is without a doubt the best Dr any of us have ever seen. He is truly an old fashioned Dr. He cares about his patients in a manner very rarely seen anymore. He is a kind, caring, gentle, diligent, humble man. As I just asked my family for comments for the above sentence the response I got was there are not enough good adjectives to describe him. Yes you will wait but it's worth it. You never know when you'll be the one who neeeds extra attention. I cant imagine our lives without him.

His patients know the wait will be long, but he gives them all the time they need to have when he is with you. His patients love him.

dr.Hodges is a wounderful doctor i would refer him to any and every body. he take his time with his clients it is worth the wait to see him.

Though an obviously kind and intelligent individual, Dr Hodges has a tendency to breach confidentiality in speaking with other providers about his patients. It is one thing to disclose important information in a medical crisis - it is another to discuss a patient with other providers without consent. Just because an MD works in a large group clinic does not mean it is ok to discuss a named patient with anyone the doctor feels like talking to. Dr Hodges also seems to claim expertise in way too many different things, and doesn't seem to know that much about some of them. He is a nice man, no doubt, but I would warn patient aways. Find someone less overconfident and more respectful of patient wishes.
