Dr Walter Bridges

Just started with Dr.Bridges. I am impressed. He's genuinely interested in you as a patient & a person. I was able to see him in a timely fashion, he listened to my issues. All in all a good & helpful visit. And I look forward to seeing him in the future.

I've been seeing Dr.Bridges since I was a toddler. He's always very informative and helps solve any issues I may have. I enjoy that if I have a concern that I believe requires imaging, he doesn't try to find reasons NOT to do it. He knows that it'll help put my mind at rest so orders what needs to be done. I also enjoy that little talks we have during the visits about anything and everything as it keeps me calm and makes it feel more personable. He's always been the best, and will continue going to him.

Dr Bridges has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and always helpful. He even has done home visits when I wasn’t able to make it it it the office. If you are looking for a doctor who has a wealth of medical knowledge and a great bed side manner then Dr Bridges is the perfect doctor for you! I would recommend him.

We have been going to Dr Bridges ever since he had an office in Vega,Tx. He is an excellent Dr and he cares about his patients.

We have seen Dr. Bridges for the last 6 years. The princess is a special needs young lady who has been with Both Dr. Habersang and now Dr. Bridges throughout her 26 years of life. She requires full time nursing and we have a wonderful relationship with Dr. Bridges and his staff. Dr. Bridges has always been very kind and is concerned with the princess’ healthcare. Dr. Bridges always sits down with us and takes the time to go over all of our concerns. We have always felt very blessed that we found a health care team that loves our princess as we do!

I love Dr. Bridges, I however do not care for his nurse-Angela. She will be the reason we do not continue care with this doctor. After telling others my experience with her, I've learned many people take issue with her. An LVN that's clearly 'burned out' is not worth a wonderful doc in my opinion. We will continue to go to specialists in Lubbock where the nurse is fresh, excited about helping others, and concerned about patients and has friendly and genuine interactions with patients. TTHSC needs to re-evaluate a nurse that is not welcoming, gives wrong info, and is outright rude. As a nurse as well, and also a former counselor, I can be thankful I don't have the reputation she does in the community. A career of causing parents stress in already stressful situations is a sad career. Last time I checked myself and my colleagues, nurses were about love, kindness, helping. Not the case apparently at this office and I should've asked more parents before even having interactions with her… and we would not have never contacted Dr. Bridges' office.
