Dr. Walter Hynan Burnham JR., MD

I had a workers comp case with Dr. Burnham. The insurance company requested more information just so I can get an epidural in my back. ( four times I repeat four times they sent that request and four times Burnham didn’t have time or his a ssistant didn’t have time to respond to it) all he had to do was make a phone call so I could get it approved That’s the over nine months. I also had surgery with Dr. Burnham on my neck. I now have basically a cage in my neck while I was in the hospital they were giving me OxyContin after the doctor the hospital and everyone was told I have no reaction to that for pain(morphine) they continue to try to give that to me. I was supposed to be in the hospital for two weeks. I was in there for four days screaming in pain so I requested to go home. The pain was so bad. I requested some pain meds from Dr. Burnham and I got muscle relaxers which did nothing to control the pain. I ended up going to my primary physician to get something stronger. I won’t… say Dr. Burnham is a bad surgeon but l his comedy is his way of trying to get around situations. . His staff that works directly with him is worthless Rena. Is the problem rest of the staff is wonderful butapparently or at least that’s who he blamed for not giving him my paperwork. I walked out of his office. I will no longer see him. I will use my own insurance for a case that Workers cop should be paying for, but because of his negligence, I’m done..

Insanely terrible experience with Dr. Burnham. I have never taken the time to write a review of a doctor before - I have two chronic illnesses so I have spent a lifetime in medical offices and have experienced a wide range of care. Dr. Burnham was comically unprofessional, rushed, impatient, not paying attention, and talked over me. The appointment started an hour and fifteen minutes late. His speaking voice is at a yelling decibel. He made assumptions about my health and medical background without reviewing my records or listening to me while I was talking, literally interrupting me. He did not ask me any questions, barely looked at my xrays, did no physical examination whatsoever, and lectured at me about diet and whatever else floated through his mind. He then left the room while he was still talking, without finishing or waiting for me to conclude the visit or ask questions. I had to run into the hallway to ask a few follow up questions. The whole visit was probably under 10… minutes. I just visited another orthopedic doctor who was calm, patient, reviewed my scans and explained what everything meant, answered all of my questions and was on time. I urge you to not see this doctor.

There was wait to see the doctor but he was with a patient who didn’t speak English & rather than just talk to her son, had her son interpret each question & answer. So seeing how Dr Burnham was taking care to inform this patient told me he’d listen to me & he did. He knew exactly where my pain was from the x-rays so I didn’t need to go through the litany of aches. His staff was very professional. They contacted the imaging center for me & my appointment was quickly scheduled. The office is very efficient & accommodating.

The Dr is pleasant , helpful . He has help me tremendously since he did my neck surgeries 2 yrs ago and my health is a lot better then what it was

This was my second time in to see Dr BURNHAM. I than thank the wait I had a great experience. All of the nurses were professional and knowledgeable. Dr BURNHAM did not rush the appointment. He listened to me and gave me options on how we can fix my problem.

Seems to be b Very knowledgeable Friendly He asked questions Gave a shut 1 st time for back pains X rays right away

I will need to wait until the end of my treatment , But his teem is very unprofessionally is making the doctor look very bad ,

A great surgeon fixed my back.
