Dr. Scott Dube, MD

Not only did he design a beautiful office located in Hermitage, but he was personable, professional, and respectful of my shoulder. He allowed me to try rehab first but recommended the MRI. During rehab, it was apparent that I had labrum issues within my shoulder. The MRI showed damage to it as well as rotator cuff tears. Surgery was needed and I'm glad I did. About 1/4 of my rotator cuff was raised off the bone. Dr Dube did an excellent job of using anchors to help tie it back down. The labrum was found intact but with shredded pieces about. He merely cleaned that up. My 6 week rehab turned into 6 months due to the rotator cuff. Rehab is not comfortable but a necessary evil. Insurance limited me on my visits, but after 8 months I began weight training on my own and that cleared up any remaining rehab issues. Almost 1 year out now and I have no limitations. My Husband has been experiencing severe elbow pain, along with other symptoms related to this. He saw the PA at the office for several visits. He was told to do Physical Therapy at their office and he received a steroid injection. We almost had to beg for an MRI which confirmed the symptoms he was having. The PA scheduled my Husband for surgery and an appointment to see Dr. Dube. We went to the appointment and noticed his bedside manner was very rude, harsh and arrogant. He said that the surgery should have never been scheduled. The PA has worked with him for 20 years and knows he does not do this surgery. He was unapologetic for the bad advice and information we were given. The Doctor said it wasn't a "big deal" and not to be upset over it. His previous statement had just been, "Oh, he's in trouble for this!" We were honestly shocked by his behavior and chose to leave with no other treatment plans to find another Doctor. Honestly, proceed with caution here! Something has changed with… his situation because we have had family members see him years ago with normal outcomes.

I was having bad right knee pain and was not getting any better so I went to see about at Stonecrest and was diagnosed with arthritis and given a cortisone shot and to have 3 weeks of physical therapy twice a week. I was like ok I’ll give it a try and after the second week Wow my knee was so much better my therapist Ahmer is fantastic and I was even able to play 18 holes of golf with no pain. I am climbing and going down stairs, shopping for an hot no pain the exercises are not easy but the hour is worth it so glad I made the choice to go here Ahmer is the best

The PA refused to wear a mask in the middle of the COVID pandemic. They charged several hundred dollars for diagnostic testing and then provided no relief. The exercises they suggested are easily found online. Absolutely never coming here again.

I am truly regretful going to Dr Dube i went with a small problem and after the 2nd day of his surgery until this present day almost 2 months later i'm experiencing " severe agony " "24-7 " my pain level went from 2 to 10 seriously and i went to his office last week for a follow up appointment and after requesting to see him while i was there to ask him why i was experiencing so much pain now more than before he blamed me for not attend physical therapy regularly and wants to do a knee replacement so i informed him went there is bone touching bone now there is nothing physical therapy can do after that he looked at knee brace at stated how the brace was angled wrong for my knee and stated he would have physical therapy to re-order a new brace and wants me to return to him in 3 months and in knowing he made a simple issue worse it's know way i would allow him to do a major surgery i will never go back !!!!!!!! The staff was excellent ! But i regret knowing he even existed!!!!!! THE… WORST SURGEON EVER!!!!!!!!!

Would not recommend! Had about 3 -4 visits for severe ankle pain, and not one time did I ever get to see Dr. Dube. It ended up costing me over 1,000.00. All that was done was an X-ray and they put me in a boot for several weeks, which made it worse.

First, let me say that they did get me in for an appointment quickly. That being said, they did not bother telling me that they were out of network so my insurance wouldn't cover my visit. They also don't disclose the absurdly high priced services such as $35 to place an ice pack on an injury for 5 minutes or $1100 for a knee brace that could have been purchased online for a much lower price. They also never mentioned that when you try to set up a payment plan the minimum monthly payment is quite high. Out of common courtesy these things could have all been discussed. Patient care unfortunately has been reduced to a dollar sign. After over 15 years in healthcare myself I find this quite sad.

The female nurse practitioner was fine and addressed my problems and concerns. The doctor is never available, does not want to see patients and does not want to answer any questions that you may have if you’re facing surgery. I would not recommend Dr Dube as he does not care to see or follow up with patients. I picked a surgeon myself and am thankful for that Dr. Night and day difference between these two speaks volumes in how they run their business. I know not everybody is going to like every doctor, but we see doctors to help us in times of need when we have injuries that we don’t want to become lifelong problems.The biggest component missing with Dr Dube is compassion and caring about patients and their recovery more than he does his own wallet. I hope he reads these reviews and understands the height of his arrogance and lack of concern.

My first surgery ever. Dr. Dube and his staff hand-held my process from start to finish. 3 weeks after surgery, I am way ahead of schedule. This is primarily due to Dr. Dube’s guidance & his rehab personnel. Redo...I would do the same exact thing.

Dr. Dube has operated on both my knees and I've had great results. I want to avoid surgery if possible and that's why I keep seeing Dr Dube. He will not do surgery unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. I have a bad back and shoulder, but for 3 years have been able to treat the pain with physical therapy and injections. Dr Dube's staff is obviously very well trained. I've seen his NP and PA and I can tell he has spent a lot of time training them. The physical therapy department is top-notch & very accommodating to my schedule. I love this office because I know when I call, they will get me in ASAP. I know I can see Dr Dube anytime, but I also know that when the surgeon walks in it's going to be NAD news! I send my family and friends to Dube Orthopedics because I know they'll get great care.
