He is a careless doctor.

I became a patient at Dr. Duffy's office after a 10 day psyche hospitalization. I only saw members of his staff for 5 months before ever meeting the doctor. As other reviews noted, all he cares about is expensive testing and pushing meds without getting to know the patient at all. After getting worse by the day, I switched doctors. Thank God! He took me off a strong medication Duffy had me on, and I began to improve within a week. This fraud should not be allowed to practice medicine!!! I have spoken to other members of the psychiatric community who say they would never refer a patient to Duffy! Stay away from this awful doctor!

Dr.walter duffy left me on xanax for almost 16 years!!i didnt know at the time that xanax was only used for short term, 3 to 4 months!!!i was addicted!!!this addiction ruined my life.i lost my husband and kids.i become a felon.i had never been in trouble criminally in my 53 years of life!!i warn u do not go to dr.duffy for anything!!

Do NOT go here! Their #1 priority is profit . . . not you. You will likely see someone different every time you go in. Dr. Duffy will then persuade you into every expensive test they have to offer (and even charge you $50 to put a swab in an envelope and mail it). They will then use those results, rather than establish a healthy rapport with you, to determine which prescriptions they will give you. I almost lost a daughter because of it. TRUST ME: go somewhere else!

Don’t go to Dr Duffy! He will come in for a minute and want to prescribe you Adderall! He’s a pill pusher for adults and children. I wonder if it’s because he has a pharmacy on site? Stay as far away from him as you can!

Highly recommend Dr. Duffy! The staff is very nice and friendly.

I saw Dr.Duffy in Lincoln for approx. 4 years. I was making payments on my account, and then suddenly they denied refills on my antidepressant because I had a balance in the office. I explained I could not pay in full, and could continue making payments. At the time, I was taking Trintellix and it took me months to get used to it. I left SEVERAL messages for Dr.Duffy as well as his nurse begging them to just refill my antidepressant until I could establish care elsewhere. No one ever returned my phone calls. I then had to go off of this medication cold turkey which is very dangerous. I ended up getting very sick, and in the ER with low potassium from vomiting so much. I wrote a review on their facebook page, and it was deleted. He clearly does not care about the well being of his patients, most of whom are very vulnerable.
