Dr. Walter Lyle Fletscher, MD

Dr. Fletscher has been the cardiologist for my son, husband, sister, 93 year old brother in law and myself. And, we all love him! He started seeing my son 17 year old son in January of 96. He found that my son needed a heart transplant before Stanford did! He’s not just an excellent, caring, knowledgeable doctor, I believe this is his calling. He gives his all to his patients all the time! Someone wrote he was rude. Not even! He’s brilliant and honest! He will tell you how it is for sure. I would much rather have my cardiologist tell me, l can’t help keep you alive if you aren’t willing to take my advice. Eat right, lose weight, exercise, ect. Then just have sweet nothings to say! He’s bar none the most devoted doctor that I’ve had. You would be blessed to have him.

Dr. Fletcher was well trusted by me for 20 years. There was a time when I did not see him then I went back due to trusting him. He saw me for low blood pressure. Then I got scared when he started reducing my meds. I went to see him when my b/ p elevated on a drop in. He told me he was not an emergency room. And if I ad an problems to go there. I had to establish care with an new physician. He also told me to get back on blood pressure pill.. That he could not have me coming there Every time my blood pressure was high. When I went back to my next Schuler appt. And my new doctor said don't take it. I told him that he jumped up and said he was done with me.... Don't trust his nurse Mindy she diagnoses.

Medically speaking, I give him the highest ratings. However,after 15 years of putting up with what I consider to be, his unbalanced temperament, I finally had to acquire a new cardiologist. You are NOT allowed to ask questions about his decisions or procedures ETC. This individual has the rudest, most UN-professional, and abusive "Bedside Manner" that I've EVER seen from a Physician. If you've got thick skin, and can withstand verbal abuse, he's your man (In my Opinion).

Outstanding physician. Excellent and caring staff. Thorough examination. Spends time explaining results and needed follow-up.
