Dr. Walter Charles Fong, MD

I've seen Dr Fong about 5 times now for physicals to antibiotics for sinus infections and every time he exhibits the personality and friendliness of a piece of cardboard. Last couple of visits he looked up probably three times from his laptop. Try someone else.

Walter Fong's care is stale and he cops out of treatment even for patients with well established long-term care on low-risk medication. He refers everything to a specialist, voiding the reason to have an internal medicine professional. Regardless of the page on him, it's obvious he does not keep up with research and I doubtful that he provides good teaching if he still teaches. Example: he uses outdated reputations of low-risk medicine from it's 3rd year in the market; not the well established research now that it's 20 years in the market. I get better bedside manner and care when I bring my spouse and he over prescribes uneeded medical testing -- coincidentally always urging me to use PacMed.
