Dr. Walter Henry Henricks, MD

Walter H. Henricks, MD, is the Medical Director of the Center for Pathology Informatics at Cleveland Clinic. He directs a team that is responsible for the administrative and technical aspects of pathology informatics and laboratory information systems. Dr. Henricks' interests include the management of pathology/laboratory data in the context of electronic medical records systems, laboratory operations and the effective implementation of technology for laboratory information management. He is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology. In addition to invited talks at national meetings, some of his national pathology informatics activities have included: Founding member and Past-President of the Association for Pathology Informatics (API), the professional society whose mission is to advance Vice-Chair of the Informatics Committee of the College of American Pathologists Co-Director of national pathology informatics conference (APIII) in 2001, 2002, 2006
