Dr. Walter William Immel, MD

Dr. Immel did not inform about malignancy of discovered tumor despite biopsy results and clear negative prognosis. What canbe easily removed by simple laparoscopic operation grew into inoperable tumor.

Dr. Immel is professional and takes the time to discuss possible reasons for the symptons being exhibited. He has performed by colonoscopies for the past 15+ years.

Dr. Immel found a cancerous tumor in my large intestine and within 5 days had gotten me into surgery with a highly competent surgeon who removed the tumor.

Incompetent beyond measure

I had originally come to this office to see his partner, Dr. Mullen, but when I finally was able to get into see her, she told me she was moving in a week and would like to transfer me to her partner, Dr. Immel. It was several months before I actually met him, but when I did, he had the audacity to claim I don't have Crohn's Disease at all (despite the 4 years of testing and retesting and confirming of my diagnosis by one of the best pediatric gastroenterologists in the country! Then, I had an awful procedure in their worn down (read: terrifying) procedure rooms. Dr. Immel may be a great doctor when his diagnosis is right (or the patient doesn't know any better), but when he is wrong, and the patient stands up for his/herself, he turns into an egotistical monster. God forbid the patient might know a little more about his/her own body/disease/medical history than he does.

I have been a patient of Dr. Immel for 30 years. He is a wonderful doctor and a great bedside manner.

I would like to commend Dr, Immell and his staff for their outstanding professionalism and compassion for one's care.I appreciated that he briefed me shortly after my colonoscopy about the outcome. He took enough time to explain the procedure that was done and talked about the results.His nurse assistant was more than graceful and very knowledgeable on the subject.Both of them put me at great ease during this procedure.I would rate them Excellent or above for this service and personal attention given to me during this procedure.Thank you.

I have been treated by Dr. Immel for two different gastro problems. He has always made me feel comfortable and took time to explain to me in layman's terms what my medical issues are, treatment options and recommended course of action.

He was so very rude and inconsiderate. Had to call him on the weekend as the regiment he had prescribed was not working. I was told to call if it did not. He scolded me for waiting until Friday to call and maybe I could just go to the ER or try and make an appointment. I have tried to get appointments. I will never go back. Sick and sad!!

ALL OF THE NURSES AND RECEPTIONISTS ARE VERY RUDE THEY ARE HORRIBLE
