Dr. Walter David Luce, MD

My appointment seemed to me to be basically a one hour session designed to educate me on why I needed to buy the lab tests he sells in his office. The lab tests are sold by a company to the doctor, who sells them to the patient for a profit of hundreds of dollars. These lab tests are not covered by insurance.

Dr Luce cares! He has helped me pin point and address specific health issues that most doctors gloss over. I appreciate his kindness. It's rare to find a doctor these days that one can trust. You can trust Dr Luce

They gave me my medical records and mistakenly included before and after revision. I think he changed my reports because of the circumstances. I find him dishonest. I felt he over charged my insurance. His dialog sounded scripted. All I can think is narcissist.

I had a complex set of problems - nervous disorder, poor digestion, skin rashes, muscular tension, high cholesterol. All issues were resolved with Dr. Luce's amazing insight into the arcane world of chemistry. I had heavy metal poisoning, candida, parasites and a number of other problems. My previous doctor missed all of these things. I am healthy again thanks to David Luce! Also, I am completely drug free - an approach I vastly prefer to the typical errant big pharma approach.

Dr. David Luce is an excellent physician, and I can personally attest to his finding a life threatening disease when other physicians did not even find the need to test. His blend of western medicine, non traditional medicine, and his wisdom and caring for his patients are extraordinary.If I have ever had to wait for Dr. Luce, it is because he is caring for a fellow patient above and beyond the time allotted, which I understand and agree with.I recommend Dr. Luce with the highest of ratings and my health, happiness, and the wellness of my wife are because of the excellent care of Dr. Luce

Dr. Luce uses complimentary therapies and testing to enhance the practice of western medicine. He really tries to search for the root cause of the diagnosis and just just do "guess" medicine. I found Dr. Luce's new office staff to be very helpful, friendly, and courteous. They went out of their way to make me feel like a valued patient. I had some complicated medical issues and Dr. Luce really got into the issue and I feel 100% better than I did, and he found answers to my problems that other Dr.'s didn't. He is an excellent physician!

Reading some of the negative comments above, I feel inclined to give a good review to the doctor that helped me through a difficult concussion 10 years ago. I have heart problems and immune disorder so it was critical to relieve the concussion symptoms from a serious car accident I had survived. Dr Luce is a very busy doctor and if he doesn't get back with you when he says..his staff was always able to reach him and get me some answers. I feel that his expert knowledge and recommendations to a more natural healing to get through the pain and cognitive difficulties greatly enhanced my recovery. I never expected to be acknowledged as more important than any other patient arriving to see him...no matter how much I was suffering at times..but always felt that his attention during my visits was focused and in my best interest. He has been a great doc for myself and some other friends that I know have seen him over the years. I would definitely recommend him for general primary care help. He… refers to some of the best specialists in the Denver area when necessary.

Just not who he says/thinks he is. If you survey his patients, you'll find his medical insights are shallow and just do not hold up. His medical insight is best described as guesswork, period. This doctor's primary mission is to sell dietary supplements, at 100% profit margin, to patients under duress. First visit you will leave this office with $500-$1,000 worth of supplements that are unproven. First visit you will leave this office wondering why the office staff is so cold and unfriendly. They are not. They are just not service oriented, spaced-out, thinking of other (personal) things. In fact, because of the downright ineptness of the staff, which is, of course, the doctor's fault, this group missed the deadline for submission of a report that was to determine the outcome of my disability insurance case. Which was the single reason I hired Dr. Loose. At the end of a 6 month, multi-thousand dollar experiment, his is not a valid medical approach, and is not good business.

Dr. David Luce looks at you as an overall chemical organizism rather than just the symptoms. He warned me that some tests would not be covered by insurance, se I went ahead and paid out of pocket. It was totally worth it. Found out I was allergic to some basic everyday foods, and by removing them out of my diet it relieved quite a few of my issues. He's very good at explaining things with examples that the everyday person can understand. I've been very pleased with the results after seeing him, and using the variety of supplements that he's had me take. I would recommend him to others.
