My experience with my parents with this doctor and his office staff should be rated as less than one star. Learning from other doctors and medical professionals who have cared for them, since we left Dr. Szyd, point to missed diagnoses, and unnecessary procedures. Experience with his office staff was abysmal at best: I personally observed unsanitary practices and had been treated rudely time and again. Waiting time in the office was no less than 2 hours plus.

Tests, tests, tests. Very overbooked. Time with doctor is limited and constantly interrupted by phone calls. Great money making machine.

Dr. Szyd is one of the best recommendations I have gotten, ever! The only doctor that makes you feel at ease. A down to earth kind of guy. This helps, if you need to discuss things that you are uncomfortable about. Always greats you with a smile. Takes the time to decide on proper treatment. Doesn't jump the gun on treatments. His staff is always available and willing to help anyway that they can. His appointments are the only ones I don't fret about. Yes, there is usually a along wait, but, it's always worth it. He takes the time to listen, doesn't rush you out. That's probably why the wait is so long.
