Dr. Tipton enjoys General Dentistry for the many types of education and treatment available to learn and then provide to his patients.

Our dental team members are Kathy, Aimee, Susan, Donna, and Stacy.
Kathy is a RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) and she and I have work worked together over 20 years and yes, she can read my mind. She loves dentistry, and she …loves people. Kathy wants the best for our patients and always goes the extra mile to help in their care. My practice and patients are grateful to have such a caring person to assist in their treatment. We have learned a tremendous amount about dentistry and people over the years. Kind, gentle and caring, one of the best assistants anywhere, hands down.
Aimee is a RDA for over 17 years and has recently joined us in 2008 from a great practice in Knoxville. Aimee is very enthusiastic, always smiling, great with kids or fearful patients. She makes you immediately comfortable. We find she is a real asset to our patients and practice.
Susan is our primary Hygienist with a degree in Dental Hygiene (RDH) from Florida State. I know, she is not orange yet, but she's smart and fun to be with. Over a 20 year career, 7 years with us, Susan has cared for our patients' most important and basic dental hygiene. Maintaining excellent hygiene and soft tissue health is essential or there is inevitable oral disease and loss. Susan is one of the best. She does not preach to the patients but she is a great source of what is best for the individual.
Stacy is also one of our Hygienist (RDH)- graduated from the University of Tennessee Medical Units with a degree in Dental Hygiene (RDH). We love her character and happiness in helping people to improve their heath. She is also a top Hygienist, a real people person. Stacy works part-time by choice, but we'd love to see her more, a real boost to our day and our patients.
Donna is our front office/ receptionist. Donna was also trained a Dental Hygienist and worked 18+ years, and then decided to change to the office management side of Dentistry. So it is a great benefit to have someone at the phone, or in the business office that really understands what is going on with our treatments. I feel this is the most demanding skill in the office; dealing with over 150 different insurance plans and helping our patients understand and make the right decision for their health. It's a huge job and we're grateful to have Donna help us.
So as you can see we offer lots of experience, knowledge, empathy (good times and bad). No short timers here.
