Dr. Wanda Lis Sanz, MD

Dr.Sanz is more suited for an adult psychiatrist, not for children or teens. If you are looking for someone with the time and patience to provide the best help for you child you will not be satisfied with the help received by Dr.Sanz. Although she does seem to care about her patients there is a lack of organization, a rushed untimely environment and you spend the the initial part of each session you pay for to have Dr.Sanz recap the entire last session, ask what medications and dosages your child is on which are all available to them on their charts as she watches the screen reviewing it again as she does not prepare in advance for her appointments and you wait for her recap as you pay for whatever time that takes. It would be worth it if their was a connection with her and your child however, there is no effort in making this connection and her questions can turn more into an interrogation to a young teen. Her methods of forcing information by constantly repeating the same question,… following them around the room even into the parking lot was concerning and completely shut down my son from opening up at all to her. Again she may be a much better fit for an adult, but she is by far not a good choice for adolescents.

I saw Dr. Sanz to help me monitor my depression and medicines I was prescribed for small vein disease of my heart. I wanted to make sure that I was taking the right dosage and meds for depression. She helped monitor my physical and mental health over a few months and was an immense help to me and my piece of mind. I highly recommend Dr. Sanz.

I was a patient of Dr. Sanz for ADD. I have been taking medicine for this for over ten years. I got a prescription for this medicine in March, and I went out of the country for three months, and did not need the medicine while I was away. While I was away, I changed insurance companies. When I got back, I dropped off the prescription and when I went to pick it up the pharmacist told me I would have to pay out of pocket. I called my insurance company, and they told me that my doctor will have to pre-approve before they will cover the cost. I said that was fine, and they sent it on to Dr. Sanz. She calls me and tells me that she will not approve the insurance company's request because my prescription was old, and that I would need to go in for an appointment. Note, that my prescription had already been filled and was ready for pickup. I had to pay over thirteen times more for my medicine, just because Dr. Sanz would not approve this. I will not be returning.

Very professional and always attentive and ready for any question that we can bring to her. Explain with all the details about the symptoms, medications, all the possible curse of action that we can take and what to expect and if there is any side effect she will explain with no problem. For me and my family she is the most professional Doctor on her field and I do recommend her as the best one.
