Dr. Ward Paul Hamlet JR., MD

Went there for help on my wrist and was mocked for my symptoms and told that I was one of 100 patients that had wrist issues so what's so special about me. I also heard him taking to the PA and Medical student outside my door before entering and he stated that my symptoms were minimal but my wrist gets inflamed once every three months so he stated "what does she expect me to do about it". Also keep in mind I am a young women and he may have mysoginistic tendencies and lack of respect for patients that are on the younger side or female. It was honestly the most degraded I have ever felt while speaking to anyone.

Went to him for some problems in my hands. Ended up with a shot in my finger. It was the most awful pain I have ever felt. I started to cry out and he stopped what he was doing. Then he said, "Do you want to keep your job? Do you want me to stop? Because if you don't stop, I will not help you. You gonna stop? Open your eyes! I said open your eyes!" He made me feel so horrible!! Never, have I ever been treated like that! I am still having problems, but I will never see him again!!

today was my surgery they told me to to prepare for it they greeted me at the door I Was very welcomed, they are highly trained and warm and and answered all my questions that I was worried about, they were all clean and caring well let's start with the anesthesiologist very professional very polite and very kind show me what he was going to do where he was going to do it at very professional very polite better person and then 40 minutes later they took me to the doctor and prepare me for surgery, I remember they tempted me in that they put half of it over me which it kind of bothered me a little bit, but I think it was a good thing I'm not squeamish about things but I think if I would have saw them cutting on me I might it might have bothered me more I was real numb when I got done, could have hit my armed with a hammer or cut it off and I wouldn't have felt it I had to have my husband lift, it he said that would wear off I don't know what everybody is saying and why they're… saying that there's anything wrong with Orthopaedics one because I would highly recommend, they are highly professionally trained for over 35 years, don't be afraid to go to them best

I wouldn't recommend Dr. Hamlet to my worse enemy. He bragged about only taking 14 minutes to do surgery on a tendon on my hand. It has never been the same since and I am about to go in for my 6th surgery to still try and fix the damage he has done. He acted like it was my fault that it was so messed up. He was rude and always rushing. His bed side manners are horrible. It has been a little over 2 years now trying to make my hand/finger useable. Dr. Hamlet did the first 2 surgeries, the 1st one he screwed up, he said it was just scar tissue and he did a 2nd surgery to clean in up and it didn't work. I have been going to another surgeon who is just trying to fix his screw up. Hopefully this next one which will be surgery number 6 will finally get me back to as normal as it can be.

Great physician! Fixed my right shoulder a few years back, now he's going fix the left. Very prompt, does what he says he will do. Dont mistake his professional character for arrogance.

My visit with Dr. Hamlet was very disappointing. He made the diagnosis and essentially said there was nothing he could do - not a positive response. My family doctor subsequently suggested physical therapy and pain medication, both of which helped, especially the PT. Dr. Hamlet did not seem interested in suggesting any options, though obviously there were therapies that did help. Overall, I like ONE very much and have had excellent treatment from other physicians there, but Dr. Hamlet did not measure up.

Worse doctor ever, very arrogant. He didn't care about any of my compliance. He gave me a cortisone shot. The pain was over the roof, but it seems he didn't care. The only words were " you are tough". Never go to him again!

Terrible experience--worse then before he did surgery terrible bedside manner
