Dr. Ward Andrew Katsanis, MD

Dr. Katsanis and staff were amazing. This was my first time there, I was nervous and referred by my Oncologist Dr. Saylors. They made me feel very comfortable and positive. I would recommend him to any one. He is efficient, caring, thorough and makes you feel we are in this together. There are part of my family now and deserve a big thank you.

Dr. K as a lot of people know him, has the BEST manners that I have seen in a Physician in along time. I work at a hospital and we really have some very RUDE ones walking the halls. The high and mighty lives upstairs above us all. Dr. K is very polite, caring, great bedside manners, and he talks to you in laymen terms so you understand what is going on. Big THANKS to you Sir. I will be seeing you the rest of my life here and on out. God Bless You...... :)

Dr. Katsanis was amazing. He took the time to sit down with me and explain the process. He answered any question I had and was very easy to talk to.

Dr. Katsanis has a great bedside manner, is very efficient,knowledgeable,caring, friendly,compassionate and is an expert in his field of practice. His nurse, Shelley, and office staff are wonderful, efficient, friendly and compassionate, as well. My Davinci surgery went AMAZINGLY well, was very successful and I agree with the diagnosis and recommendation for me. I have faith in Dr. Katsanis and I know God led me to him through my local doctor, who said, "Dr. Katsanis is the BEST and you wouldn't WANT ANYONE ELSE"! I quite AGREE! I am so thankful we have such a wonderful Gynecologic Oncologist of this caliber in our area of SC!

no nonsense compassionate, takes a conservative approach when applicable. answers all my oblique qustions.Speaks quickly but obvious he is well versed in my status when he enters the room. Too darn good looking and dedicated to his patients. Respectful to his patients and his staff, honest to me. When I annoy him with my owns answeres to my own questions, since I feel I know so much, he shows patience. If it ever occured I am sure he would admit when he called .. something incorrectly. Good staff... Lucky Charleston area has HIM!!...

this doc i only meet once before my surgery and once after i had some problems and went back he had an attitude and was rude and really didnt listen to me he interupted me and made me feel awful also during my sec visit with him when he exam me he did not have a nurse in there with me i felt very un easy and was not pleased that it was just me and him in the room during my exam and no one eles i thought that you had to have some one eles in there during those types of exams. i am so disappointed with him and i am still haveing problems but wont go back to him cause i dont want him getting mean and nasty again with me.i will see another doc and if any thing is wrong well we will just see.

His Nurse Shelly was wonderful too.Unfortunitally we moved closer sister before we found out to my sister thanAfter a recent relaspe...Sucks. BUT WE ARE COMING HOME>>>>>>

I was very pleased with my visit. The waiting time was a little long but the doctor was very caring, informative and addressed all my concerns. I loved that he took the time to talk to me and introduce himself before wanting to examine me. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Katsanis is a "No-Nonsense" kind of doc. He is caring and professional. His staff is equally as caring and professional. I had a question, I got an answer. I did have to have surgery BUT I felt that I was in the best of hands.
