Dr. Ward Jackson Paine, MD

Always kind and caring, very professional and direct. Can't recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Paine has been my PCP for years, my husband's too, and he really knows his stuff. He has treated EVERY illness & complaint we've ever had and made us better. He saw me in the hospital when I was there--he didn't send in a hospital staff doctor in his stead. He is available for appointments when you need him. Some people may see Dr.Paine's frank personality negatively, but I have come to appreciate his sincerity in telling me exactly about my health conditions, their consequences, & what choices I have. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants an excellent doctor who won't molly-coddle you but treat your health issues thoroughly, correctly, and with the respect they deserve. Wow!!!!! he has been our doctor for a number of years , but recently have seen a side of him i don't care for . he has always been kind of short but the last time my family was there some members of my family left crying. we are contemplating finding another family Doctor. If your having a bad day as a doctor leave it at home the office is no place for it. Its bad when you pay to get treated BAD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Paine is very knowledgeable and thorough, but also kind and understanding.

I think this doctor needs to go back to school or be sent to training to know how to handle patients while they are hospitalized,,, my cousins mother is in the hospital and what she told me about what he told her mother that was down right wrong,,,Where does he get off telling his patients they will die,,,,,especially knowing that this patient has a hard time doing what he asks,,,, why doesnt he give this patient some comfort and some other alternitives to help her instead of yelling at her and getting her more upset,,,, trust me if he was my mothers doctor and he told my mother she was going to die if she didnt cough he would get a good piece of my mind and then some,,,,,,

This is a doctor that is very uncaring and unprofessional, he told my mom who has been battling and illness, that she was dying, which added very much to the stress that she was already under. There are was of explaining this to patients, bnut the uncaring and unthoughtful way he did, was totally uncalled for. He should NOT be a doctor!
