Dr. Warden Hamlin Emory, MD

Dr Emory is truly a miracle worker and he helped me so much when countless other doctors failed. I had a host of chronic health issues that went undiagnosed for years that resulted in 7 years of crippling insomnia where I never slept. I saw so many doctors and they tried every sleeping medicine. If it didn't work they added a new one and/or upped the dose. By the time I saw Dr Emory I was on 5 different medicines, some to put me asleep and some to wake me up in the morning and was living an unsuccessfully medicated cycle. Dr Emory truly opened my eyes to a whole new way of looking at my sleep. While everyone had put me on medications to down regulate my system so I could sleep (which sleep never actually happened) Dr Emory looked at me in a whole new way and was the first person to ever point out the real issue was my body was never becoming alert enough during the day rather than the other way around. After one visit he changed my sleep which greatly improved my life and he continues… to do so to this day. I truly hope that the medical and psychiatric community catch up to his analysis and method of thinking about the brain and body-- we could help so many more people.

Dr. Emory changed my life, and saved my business, by giving me the right treatment. He took me off of a prescription that would have ultimately hurt my relationships and performance in the business world, and he got it right. Other, highly reputed doctors insisted, based on “empirical data,” that the treatments they had previously given me were right, even though the medicine’s side effects were destroying everything I had worked toward. The only concern I have about Doctor Emory’s treatment style is that not enough people in field of neuropsychiatry (perhaps no one) does what he does. And it’s a shame. His approach, which is based upon looking at an individual’s brainwave data, and using it to determine which pharmaceutical or non-pharmaceutical treatment to dole out, makes so much more sense than the more common approach of throwing different treatments at a person, based upon their stated symptoms, without looking at their individual data. What’s right for one person’s brain, may… not be right for another person’s brain. And, being given the wrong meds is too common a problem in today's world; I have seen it first hand in myself, and in folks that I know. His decades of experience reading EEG data allows him to narrow things down and get it right, much faster. Although his fees may appear higher, at first, his approach saved me tens of thousands of dollars that I would have spent dealing with problems from the wrong medicine. I wish more people understood how they could benefit from his way of treating people. If you are reading this because you are considering embracing his approach, I wholeheartedly say, “Go for it."

When I first saw Dr. Emory, I had been battling chronic anxiety and insomnia for most of my adult life. Naturally, my quality of life suffered to say the least (I won't go into the morbid details). Fast-forward one year, Dr. Emory has unleashed the potential in me that the anxiety had been holding back for over a decade. I discovered athletic abilities I never knew I had and unbound creativity. I feel happier, lighter (literally, 80 pounds lighter!), and younger. Like 15 years younger. I literally get carded at restaurants when I order a glass of wine (and I'm 35!). Most importantly, I am… healthier - body, soul, and mind. My productivity has skyrocketed, empathy for others deepened, and love of life renewed. Hamlin Emory is unequivocally the most ethical, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, and efficacious doctor I have ever frequented. He is a bona fide healer with impeccable credentials and embodies unquestionable integrity. He genuinely loves what he does and sincerely cares for his patient’s well being, and will always go out of his way to make sure each patient’s quality of life is improved to its maximum. His methodology is forward thinking, holistic, and exacting - totally tailored to each patient’s unique needs. While I’ve personally come across countless doctors who take a cookie cutter approach to diagnosis and treatment, Dr. Emory is not afraid to take the road less traveled if it means providing an effective remedy, while at the same time, allowing the patient to function in the least diminished capacity possible. Prior to consulting Dr. Emory, my GP (at the time) had prescribed two very commonly prescribed drugs to treat my condition. After an initial evaluation, Dr.… Emory recommended I switch to a different prescription drug and an over-the-counter amino acid. The combination provided relief that was much more specifically suited to my individual brain/body makeup and requirements. As a result, I was able to get the relief I needed, while at the same time, allowing me to function in non-impaired, highly efficient manner. Needless to say, most doctors would never take the time or put in the effort to tailor their treatment in such a meticulous manner. Equally important, Dr. Emory is highly personable, immensely engaging, and a man of the highest character. I have always found my visits to be highly enjoyable and enlightening. Additionally, his staff is also incredibly friendly, kind, and accommodating. In a world where even medicine has often times been subverted by greed, indifference, and self-interest, it is truly refreshing that someone like Dr. Emory still exists.

I have known Dr. Emory more than thirty years and although I haven't seen him for a few years, I contribute that to the patience and caring that Dr. Emory had given when I was his patient . And although there are some ups and downs in my I am able to handle them wisely . Dr. Emory was my lifeline.

Our family has utilized Dr. Emory's services for 19 years and he has always been professional, personable and knowledgeable. In this particular specialty, proper diagnosis and treatment can sometimes be pretty tricky; and an effective treatment protocol one year may not be effective the next simply because the human body is constantly changing. He is vigilant and positive when working with the patient and family; and if the situation has felt frustrating and/or frightening, he has always tempered those negative feelings with wisdom and hope. Based on our experience we would highly recommend him.

Dr.Emory is truly amazing! I have never had a problem getting an appointment or having to wait for too long; to the contrary he has gotten me in right away and spends as long as is needed with me. I adore him and his staff and he has been a key person in a very long healing process.
