Dr. Warren Scott Lafferty, MD

My husband came into the ER at 3:30 am complaining of severe heartburn in his chest while Dr. Lafferty was the ER doctor. He gave him a GI cocktail which did nothing for his pain, but he told my husband to give it some time it would work. Then he sent my husband home. My husband returned at 6:30 am that same morning (3 hours later) complaining of the exact same thing. Most doctors would immediately do and EKG, which seems to be standard protocol for severe heartburn/chest pains. Not Dr. Lafferty, he gave my husband morphine, more morphine and adavan. Then discharged him and I drove him home. 2 days later the pain was still unbearable, luckily this time my husband went to the ER at Washington Regional Medical Center. They immediately did an EKG, he was suffering from a massive heart attack. They immediately took him back, put in a heart cath & gave him 2 stints in his main artery that was 100% blocked. So Dr. Lafferty missed the mark on this. We are very disappointed to say the least.
