Tom Pickard II

Dr. Pickard always makes me feel like I am his only patient. He spends time with me and answers all of my questions. He also is very conservative in his treatment, so I don't ever feel like I am being rushed into having an unnecessary or expensive procedure.

Dr. Pickard is an amazing physician. He is thorough and knowledgeable and treats you with care and genuine concern. They don't make them like Dr. Pickard very often! The community is so fortunate to have him!

At one time I was a patient of Belmont Medical; had been for many years. Their practice has gotten so busy, they are turning the sick away. For example: I was so sick I was in tears to see the doctor there. They told me they had a cut off time, and I was it. This goes on all the time, really! I decided at that point to go else where. I went to Brown Summit Family Medicine. I have never been more pleased to have gone here. Now after 7 years, I have never been turned away, ever. I gave 4 stars to all the questions, because there has to be room for improvement. Both doctors are great, the nurses are warm and caring, as well as the staff. They call you back if you leave a message, or for test results. If I go in without an appointment, they will do there best to see me that day. I am very pleased and feel I am cared for at this practice!

The nurse assistant was very rude. She really had an attitude. The Nurse practioner was completely off. I had pneumonia and she thought I was making up the symptoms. She couldn't read an xray. I went some where else and they also took an xray and saw very clearly that I had pneumonia, gave me medicine and helped me. I do not want to do business there again.

The community is fortunate to have a caring and competent physician in the local practice! Thank you Dr. Pickard for all that you do!
