Dr. Warren D Pierce, MD

His diagnotics are excellent. He does not car to chit chat, but the office nurses are excellent.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pierce for a few years now. I thought he was a good doctor until I had to be hospitalized multiple times. He makes his rounds at about 5 a.m. when I am sound asleep. If you talk to any nurses on staff at the hospital, they will be clear that no one is happy with the way he handles inpatients. Most have never seen him. I needed rehab a few times and he insists you go to the one in hoffman estates, which he is part owner. The place is run down and understaffed. He got very angry when I asked to go to a different one. On my last hospital stay, he recommended that I needed to live in his nursing home. I told him that I'd prefer hospice. He signed papers for me to have hospice and was not pleased. The hospice nurse has tried to contact him multiple times and he has never returned a call. I guess he is done with me. Hospice personnel are well aware of Dr. Pierce and said he does the same to all patients that come from him. I would not recommend him.

Office is disorganized and record keeping is poor. MD not current with current state of medicine.

I have seen Dr. Pierce a few times now and I have always had to wait almost an hour and one time an hour and a half in a small exam room with no access to internet to even try to work while waiting. No considerate for the patients time or feelings. He has taken sales appointments by drug sales people and has taken other patients that are colleagues before regular patients. I guess you are not important unless you are another doctor.

Dr. Pierce is professional, practices healthy living & was supportive during my broken neck. Awesome

Dr. Is usually running 30-50 mins behind. He books appointment for times he isn't even in the office yet. Makes no apology for making me wait even though I expressed my frustration to him. Treats you like it's just a job. Lack of empathy and attentiveness. Disappointing to say the least.

After waiting for almost an hour, I mentioned to Dr. Pierce how long I had been waiting and his response was OH, REALLY? As if he didn't know! And trust me when I say the wait is not worth it. Dr. Pierce has no empathy, no compassion, and no respect for his patients. He doesn't listen and he just plain doesn't care. I think it's Time To Retire.....

He must have missed classes on bedside manner and compassion. Can be very condescending. He spreads himself thin which reflects in his interaction with the patient.

Dr Pierce has been my primary physician for years. I drive 25 miles from my home to see him. He is absolutely worth the trip! No matter what your ailment, he will figure it out and treat it until you are totally recovered.
