Dr. Warren John Strutt, MD

We were referred to this practice by my Mom's PCP, and fortunately met Dr Strutt. Besides being a very skilled surgeon, he is a great person! He is very compassionate and communicates well. My Mom is 89 years old, with dementia. He was so kind to her, always checking in to make sure SHE was comfortable, while also making sure I understood the procedure. His staff was able to schedule the surgery quickly. We are so grateful to Dr Strutt! My Mom is healing well. I would recommend him 1000 times over.

I cannot begin to express how wonderful my experience with Dr. Strutt has been. I had been putting off my gastro surgery for over a decade because of fear for having a bowel resection performed and the complications that come with it. My condition got to the point where something had to be done. In my search for an experienced surgeon in this area, we came across Dr. Strutt. It was apparent from our first meeting that he was a humble and yet confident surgeon in his field. My condition was a complicated one. When asked, how long he expected the surgery to last he said that he anticipated about 4 hours...but he would take whatever amount of time it takes to do it right. My procedure ended up taking 6 hours. I was also reassured when he said that he prepares for every possible emergency that could happen during the surgery, but expects things to go smoothly. This was another reassuring quality to Dr. Strutt's professionalism. While the surgery took longer than originally… anticipated due to it's complexity, the recovery time was extraordinary. I was home within 4 days and the recovery process has been well ahead of schedule. We are now at the 3 week mark in my new life and everything is fantastic.

It is my great pleasure to recommend Dr. Strutt. Not only is he a highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon, he is compassionate. Dr. Strutt understood my anxiety regarding my condition, which was at times painful and embarrassing. His high degree of competence and his caring demeanor eased my concerns and got me through this difficult time. I appreciated the fact that he took a conservative approach to treating me. He spent a lot time explaining my condition, the treatment he recommended, and the risks involved. On several occasions I called the office expecting to only speak with a receptionist (they are fantastic, as well). However, to my surprise and great relief, it was always Dr. Strutt who personally called me back and answered all of my questions. Throughout this process, I always felt that I was receiving the best care.

I was very lucky to have found Dr. Strutt. He took care of me very well and I'm doing great. I should have taken care of my problem a long time ago. If you're having any relevant problems, go see him.

Dr. Strutt has helped me through a rather long and sometimes painful anorectal abscess. Every time I've seen him, he tells me not to worry because he's going to fix the problem. And he is. So I don't worry. That's very helpful for a severe abscess that is requiring multiple surgeries. I have complete faith in Dr. Strutt.

He was informative and forthcoming with any questions and/or concerns I had along with his staff who were caring and patient with me, I never felt like I was just another patient, but was treated an an individual person who was given all the attention and care that was needed. There are not enough words to express the gratitude my husband and I have for Dr. Strutt and his amazing staff. My husband had an illness that required immediate care. The Kaiser system in Colorado does not staff Colorectal Surgeons. My husband was referred to Dr. Warren J Strutt. My husband was scheduled for his appointment promptly. Within minutes, we were escorted in to an examination room to meet with Dr. Strutt. Dr. Strutt proceeded to answer all of my questions. Never once did Dr. Strutt talk down to me or make me feel rushed. By the end of my conversation with Dr. Strutt, I knew everything was going to be okay. Surgery was scheduled promptly. The follow-up care my husband received was amazing. We are so pleased with our experience with Dr. Strutt. I would highly recommend him to anyone!
