Dr. Warren Sturm came to our practice in 1981, and continues to be committed to providing our patients with quality dental care. Originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, Dr. Sturm received his undergraduate degree at Johns Hopkins University and his D.D.S. from the University of Minnesota. After dental school Dr. Sturm served in the US Public Health Service for three years, working in New York City and Charleston, SC, gaining broad experience in many facets of dental care. Since settling in Charlotte, Dr. Sturm has accumulated over 1000 hours of continuing education. He says his favorite aspect of dentistry is educating patients about treatment options for his or her dental problems.
Dr. Sturm is a member of numerous dental organizations, including the American Dental Association, NC Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is on the Medical and Dental staff at Carolinas Medical Center. Dr. Sturm’s community …affiliations include work with Communities in Schools, Physicians Reach Out, the NC Baptist Dental Bus, and Give Kids a Smile. His hobbies include reading, travel, music (he plays trombone in two area bands), mountain and road biking.
