Dr. Washington Baquero, MD

I have never in my life been treated and spoken to with such disrespect. The individuals working in this office, specifically MARIA, are the most horrendous human beings I've EVER encountered. You should be ashamed of yourself for providing the level of "service" to your community that you do. Do you treat all people like scumbags? I hope you and your family never find yourself in a situation where you have to seek out a doctor like Dr. B - and if you do- I hope you are shown the same level of compassion that you showed me and my family. Disgusted by you! This office should be CLOSED and MARIA should be FIRED!!!

Dr. Baquero has excellent bedside manner and has been my doctor for over 26 years. He is very thoughtful about prescribing pain medication and that is why I trust him. He does not just agree with the patient to get them out the door which is what many doctors will do in order to avoid the unpleasant conversation of dealing with a patient who is only interested in obtaining controlled pain drugs.

Personally, I had few scheduling issues with Baquero's office, and my visits were for routine illnesses. I was balance-billed, though they were in my insurer's network, and during two conversations, they attempted to collect payment. It wasn't until I threatened alerting the insurer that they admitted the "mistake".More seriously, my wife went to Baquero for migraines. He implied that she had looked up symptoms in an attempt to have pain meds prescribed. She was recently diagnosed with an aneurysm which has contributed to complex migraines, for which she is undergoing surgery. Had this physician done his job and at least referred her to a specialist that knew his practice, this could have potentially been caught years ago before symptoms progressed into the more serious nature they are now.
