He is a special consultant to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) within the Cardiovascular Devices Branch, has served on the editorial boards for Circulation, the Journal of the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, and Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine and is a Senior Advisor and frequent Guest Editor for the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Batchelor earned his bachelor of science and medical degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, a master's degree in clinical research from Duke University, and an Executive MBA from New York University.
